Guardians of the Galaxy Game Revealed

Guardians of the Galaxy Game Revealed

During Square Enix’s 2021 E3 press conference, Eidos Montreal have revealed that they have been working on a brand new Guardians of the Galaxy game.

The trailer shows off Eidos Montreal’s own interpretation of what the Guardians look like, while also giving us a taste of the over the tops and comical personalities of the the group.

The game is described as a “a bold third-person narrative action-adventure game.” The game is expect to not be getting any post launch content, DLC, or live-service features.

In addition to the reveal trailer, we also got a 11 minute gameplay video showing off the team discussing a plan to get money by selling either Groot or Rocket, to a Lady Hellbender.

During this gameplay we get a look a good amount of combat showing us how players will use Starlord’s jet pack and guns to move quickly around the game’s terrain while taking shots at enemies. One of the most interesting aspects shown off in this video is the game’s choice and consequences system.

As stated above you will be able to choose if you want to try and sell Groot or Rocket to Lady Hellbender, but the trailer shows off many more, smaller, choices throughout its 11 minute runtime, that seem like they will have effects on the games characters and story.

Guardians of The Galaxy will be coming to PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on October 26, 2021.
