As a part of IGN’s Summer of Gaming, new Souls-like game Mortal Shell got it’s first gameplay trailer last night. The trailer shows off what you can expect to see as a soul inhabiting human-like shells.

In an Interview with IGN, Developer Cold Symmetry, explained that the shells each have a backstory and there own history that the player will be able to learn as they use that shell for longer and longer.

Along side the trailer it was also announced that there would be a closed beta for for the game on PC, next month. Starting on July 3rd and running until July 10th, fans who are able to get there hands on some beta keys will be able to try out a few shells and a few weapons as they traverse an early section of the game.
