Today during the Sony PlayStation 5 reveal event Sony announced Oddworld Soulstorm.

It seems like it has been forever since we have had a new Abe game. That is probably because we haven’t had a new one since 2005. That is fifteen years, can you believe that?

The gameplay seems very similar to what you would expect from an Oddwolrd game. Platforming while trying to save your fellow Mudokon, but mostly just leading them to their deaths and there was a ton of that in the trailer.

I think the world is ready for a new Oddworld game, but you will have to wait a little longer as there was no release date announced yet.
