During the Ubisoft Forward 2021, we got our first look at the newly named Rainbow Six Extraction.

Originally named Rainbow Six Quarantine, Ubisoft decided to change the name do to the global pandemic, so now we have Extraction.

Extraction is based on the gameplay from the very successful game, Rainbow Six Siege. In Extraction, Rather than fighting against the standard humans like you would in Siege, Players are set against alien invaders that can infect them with their gross alien biology.

The trailer shows a team of soldiers trying to rescue a captured teammate as they fight through a horde of diverse and grotesque aliens. This shows off a game mechanic where if your character falls in a fight they can be captured. You can not play a captured operative again until you go in and rescue that character from an enemy base.

Rainbow Six Extraction is set to release on September 16, 2021 on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
