Xbox shows off Halo Infinite gameplay

Today Microsoft hosted its big Xbox Series X Showcase. Wherein they showed off what players can expect to see from the company for the next couple of years. What better way to kick off such a big show than the biggest series that the company currently has, Halo. Well, that is exactly what they did.

The show started off by diving straight in to a full nine minutes of gameplay from the upcoming Halo Infinite and it definitely looks like more Halo. The trailer puts a big emphasis on nostalgia showing off many different staples from the past games, such as driving a warthog, easily killing grunts, elites doing their little rolls that they like so much, and killing enemies with a lightning fast elbow to the chest.

While the game doesn’t look like it will be fully open-world, there does seem to be at least some aspect of that to the game with chief being able to go to multiple different objective points at any one time.

Halo Infinite will most likely launch alongside the Xbox Series X sometime during holiday 2020.
